Unwanted application is launched when inserting USB / CD

Open up the Start Menu and type “AutoPlay”, this can also be found in the Control panel if looking at all items (select view by: large/small icons).
Then choose the appropriate action that you wish each item to take.
For example select “Do nothing” if you don’t want any application to pop up.
